Change and Cancellation Policies for Booking

To maintain the healthy and fair environment on TakeMeTour, the strict policy applies to all trip changes and cancellations.

 

Trip
Change of purchased trips

  • Notice has to be given to support@takemetour.com 
  • Change of date after purchase can be made only with your Local Expert’s agreement. It is also subject to availability.
  • Change of trip and/or Local Expert after purchase can be arranged only with your Local Expert’s agreement. It is also subject to availability. Travelers shall be responsible for cost differences. TakeMeTour reserves the right to withhold any excessive amount.
  • If the Local Expert cannot reschedule or is not available for the trip, the trip will consider to be cancelled. The cancellation policy below will apply based on the submission date of your trip change request.  

Cancellation of purchased trips

  • Notice has to be given to support@takemetour.com
  • The booking with promo code and add-on items (e.g. DTAC SIM card, hotel pickup service and street food tour) will consider to be non-refundable booking under any circumstance.
  • If you do not show up to the trip day, the trip will consider to be cancelled without refund.   
  • In the event of trip cancellation, TakeMeTour reserves the right to withhold the booking fee. (in all cases)
  • For full refund, trip cancellation has to be made at least 7 days in advance of the trip day, prior to 12:00AM (Local time GMT+7). Two options are available:
  1. Full refund excluding booking fee will be transferred to you based on your payment method. We will process it within 15 business days.
  2. Full refund including booking fee is available in the form of a credit voucher for any tour on TakeMeTour. The amount of the credit voucher will be valid for 3 months from the issue date and is not valid for cash-out.
  • If you make a request after 7 days in advance of the trip day, prior to 12:00 AM (Local time GMT+7). The trip will consider to be canceled without any refund.
  • Under special circumstances, we may consider the refund on a case by case basis. Please submit solid reasons and evidence to our support team at support@takemetour.com

Refund Request Period

  • Any refund request must be made no later than 2 days after the trip day.
  • The request will be canceled if you release a payment or give a review to your local expert.

 

Ticket
Change of purchased ticket

Purchased tickets/vouchers are non-refundable and the date of visit cannot be rescheduled under any circumstances.

Under special circumstances, we may consider refunding in the form of voucher credits for trip purchase on TakeMeTour.com (booking fee 107 THB excluded) on a case by case basis. Please submit solid reasons and evidence to our support team at support@takemetour.com
